Thanks To Our Partners!
GAP is excited to bring the StopGap Ramp Project to Guelph. StopGap is an amazing initiative created by Luke Anderson. It helps to raise awareness to barriers in our built environment and reduces these barriers by providing portable ramps to businesses within the community. StopGap began in Toronto and now there are over 200 StopGap Ramps available in Canada. StopGap is a registered charity and donations are appreciated to help them continue to grow and provide education and advocacy.
GAP has partnered with the Downtown Guelph Business Association to launch this project. There will be 37 businesses in Guelph equipped with StopGap ramps as of October 2015. Special thanks to Kenaidan Contracting Ltd. and their suppliers (through their Caring Enough to Act (CETA) program) for the construction of the ramps and Sign Art Centre of Guelph for the signage that accompanies the StopGap Guelph ramp.
